Tenterfield High School's Library is an innovative resource centre for students. We provide a positive learning environment with friendly staff to assist students with any information that they are seeking or need for assignments. A quiet reading room exists in the front of the library and is available before school and second half of lunch Wednesday to Friday. Students can read or listen to some audiobooks on the audiobook player in the room and there are two computers available for assignments or student work.
The library has also gathered and manage 40 Laptops for student use. Teachers can borrow this resource for classroom use if necessary.
The Library remains open on a Monday afternoon until 4 o’clock for Year 12 students to use as a study centre. The quiet reading room is proving very popular with these students.
Stay tuned for some very exciting initiatives involving iPads soon!
